Restoring a TAMIYA Polycarbonate Body

I am a total Tamiya geek and an avid Le Mans fan. I got this rare Tamiya Mazda 787B remote controlled car on French eBay with original box. These were a limited run edition released in the early 90s. It had been painted a horrible black by the previous owner. I wanted to restore it to original condition. The body is made from polycarbonate – I had tried to strip paint from a polycarbonate body before but it didn’t end well. I had read that De-Solv-It Graffiti Clean-up was worth a try and decided to give it a go. A link to the restoration is here:
